Essay 2 "Products"

Productions.
Products and upgrades only makes us want more stuff and purchase more so we don’t get left out in the old school bubble and be called old fashioned. Yet not only that but you also want to pleasure yourself based on the surrounded environment.
Trashing the planet leads to trashing ourselves because of how we are getting obsessed on those products which doesn’t even makes us happy for a month at least without something new comes to the market then you shop and dump what you think you want but not need. That’s Being selfish to your own environment and wasting it for the companies whom are polluting the earth for money and self benefits with less cost loss and more profits at the expense of the people Which gain the profits based on their unknowing clearing the point of Annie “If you don’t own or buy a lot of stuff, you don’t have a value.”, (Leonard, A.2007). Extraction cause illness to the earth wherever it is happening because we all live on the same ground, companies may not care but it’s all about their own benefits, when they seek resources to make un-recycling products.
Products are made every day in millions for the people and the financial profits, New ideas every minute, new styles and new types as well. Not only loss for our pockets but also having much stuff to pollute the earth. You never thought of how it could harm the planet till you read about it and what they do with your old products so you realize the mess in this producing system. Companies have the power and the money so to their selves making new unrepaired products is not a problem yet people will still buy them without second thoughts, don’t expect them to care about the planet it’s not about the company because they only work for their salary, the head of this is just thinking of how to get he’s empire bigger and wider. And that’s how the human brain works sadly. So companies just show us that they care “don’t say you’re authentic unless you really are authentic.” (Pine, J.2004).
Consuming those products whether they are cheap or expensive without taking a minute to think about how it did cost this much even if it’s a cheap product and getting amazed of how people get hired for such stuff that barely costs itself. Expensive stuff actually costs more than it actually worth yet people buy both products without thinking about the actual cost or if it’s even reasonable.
Selling and making new products never was a loss because of how consumers still find it affordable and still buy them. Consumers will always buy and companies will still make new uncompleted products so consumers will still consume for new and more, which makes you end up with a lot of not working trash.
After leading to satisfying yourself and satisfying the companies and the economy comes the part where they get rid of those products after it led to it purpose which only leads to harm the planet that gets worse every second because of what humans want, mother nature is dying because of those needs, and just a low amount of people are aware or care because it shows clearly. Toxics that were made in the products gets even more toxic after disposing it, not all parts of the product can be gone or recycled the other are poisoning the water, air, and ground. We have one planet for generations yet to come to live on this planet, what kind of people we would be if we won’t make a better place or just keep it as it was for our kids in the future. It’s an exciting story to be told in the future if all what we know have changed for good and life how we know it get to be a life we used to live due to lack of interest of of what god gave us.
Here in the UAE consumption is very trader and the consumers are everywhere in the UAE, people come from every part of the world to come to the UAE to consume which makes the consumption a big number that is getting increased yearly in big steps, helping them the economy as their right hand and pushing them to consume products and buy everything without any second thoughts crossing their minds, which I’ll add “Mainly due to inflation, we expect that spends on basic commodities and living essentials will increase.” (Gupta A.2013). The UAE actually helps people to find what they need cause of how the UAE and their cities became the direction point of tourists and the rich mainly, and all of that to support the growth and wealth of the nation which made it one of the leading countries in the region.
The idea of this system starting with extraction, production, distribution, consumption, and finally disposal, does look quiet fine at the beginning but once you dig deeper things reveals itself with time, not much people would think about this leaving it a problem to someone else to solve, it starts with every individual by himself to people around him to the society he lives in and that’s how he reflexes the idea to the world. At the end the planet is ours to take care of and not our governments because the people are the change.
